Jute is also known as Jute. Jute is the second most cultivated fiber crop in our country after cotton. India ranks first in the production of jute in the world. Stem rot disease: The incidence of stem rot disease is more in jute crop. The leaves of the plants affected by the disease turn yellow and dry up. The stem of the plants starts rotting and after some time the whole plant is destroyed. To avoid this disease, do not allow water logging in the field. Before transplanting, treat 4 g of Trichoderma per kg of seed.

Root rot disease: Root rot of the plants affected by this disease starts. If this disease is not controlled at the right time, the growth of plants is hindered and the plant starts drying up. To avoid this disease, make proper drainage system in the field. If symptoms of disease are seen in standing crop, sprinkle 3 grams Carbendazim per liter of water.
