• Now remove the unhealthy seeds and set them aside.

• Wash the remaining healthy seeds with clean water 2 to 4 times and separate the salt.

• After washing the seeds, keep them in the shade and dry them.

• Seed dressing: This process is most commonly used. In this process the seed is treated with a dry mixture or solution of drugs. This is the simplest process for seed treatment.

• Seed Pelleting: In this process the size of the seed is changed to improve the handling of the seed. This process requires special machines and techniques. This is the most expensive process of seed treatment.

• Treatment with Beejamrut: Apart from these procedures, the seed is also treated with Beejamrut. In this process 50 grams of cow dung, 50 milliliters of cow urine, 50 milliliters of cow's milk, 2 to 3 grams of lime are mixed in 1 liter of water and kept overnight. Seeds can be treated with this mixture the next morning.

Keep these things in mind at the time of seed treatment

• First treat the seed with fungicide. Then treat with culture.

• Do not mix fungicide and culture together during seed treatment. By doing this the bacteria present in the culture are destroyed by the fungicide.

• Sowing should be done as soon as possible after seed treatment.

• Use treated seed only for sowing.

• Do not use treated seed as self-food and animal feed. It is harmful.

• Destroy empty cans of medicines used in seed treatment.
