• Root Nematode: This causes the formation of lumps in the roots of plants. Its main symptom is yellowing of leaves and their growth stagnation.

• Epilacna Beetle: It is a small red colored insect that feeds on leaves.

• Mosaic: This disease is caused by a type of bacteria. In this disease, mosaic-like appearance starts on the leaves.

• Phomopsis brinjal: In this disease, spots start forming on the brinjal adjacent to the ground along with the leaves. Along with this the leaves turn yellow and start falling.
