Apply soon for Kisan Credit Card
Many schemes are being started by the central government for the benefit of the farmers. Kisan Credit Card is also included in these schemes. Under Kisan Credit Card scheme, farmers are provided loan facility at affordable interest rate. In this, interest subvention is given to farmers at the rate of 2 percent per annum for loans up to Rs 3 lakh. Farmers who pay the loan prematurely are given an additional rebate on interest at the rate of 3 per cent per annum. Along with this, crop insurance coverage is also given to the farmers taking loans under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme.
If you cultivate crops, are involved in the business of fisheries or do animal husbandry and you have not yet made a Kisan Credit Card, then you can apply for it on 31 March 2021. You can apply through both online and offline mode. Offline application can be made from the nearest branch of Regional Rural Bank, Co-Operative Bank, Bank of India, State Bank of India, National Payments Corporation of India, IDBI Bank. You can get Kisan Credit Card within 15 days of applying.
