This disease also occurs due to the lack of balanced diet of the animals after delivery.

Milk fever disease in animals occurs in three stages.

first stage of milk fever

In this stage the animals become agitated before delivery.
Animals show increased sensitivity, excitement and symptoms of tetanus.
Animals stop consuming food.
In the first stage, animals keep sticking out their tongues.
The teeth of the animals start to bite.
The body temperature of the affected animal becomes slightly above normal.
The problem of stiffness starts in the body and hind legs of the animal.

second stage of milk fever

In the second stage, the animals sit with their necks bent.
