Cultivate brinjal with organic method

How to do land purification by organic method?

  • Many times there is an outbreak of fungal diseases in plants through soil. To avoid this, it is necessary to purify the soil.

  • For cultivating improved varieties of brinjal per acre of field, 200 to 250 grams of seed is required.

How to prepare eggplant nursery with organic method?

  • To prepare the nursery of brinjal, first of all plow the soil well and make the soil level and friable.

  • Now prepare beds 15 to 20 cm high above the ground surface.

  • Add 8 to 10 quintals of cow dung per acre of land about 10 days before sowing of seeds.

  • Sow the seeds at a distance of 6 to 7 cm in all the beds.

  • To treat seeds by biological method, prepare a solution by mixing 1 part rotten whey in 4 parts water for 8 days 10 days ago. Treat the seeds by dipping them in this solution for about 4 hours.

  • Dry the treated seed in the shade and do evil at a distance of 6 to 7 cm.

  • For good growth of plants and for supply of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash, mix 100 to 150 quintals of rotted cow dung or 40 to 50 quintals of vermicompost manure per acre of land.

Planting of plants in the main field by organic method

  • Prepare a solution by mixing 500 g of Pseudomonas fluorescens fluorescens in 25 liters of water before transplanting the nursery grown plants to the main field. Soak the roots of plants in this solution for 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Apart from this, the roots of plants can also be treated with 3% solution of Beejamrut.

  • Spray 10% cow urine solution in the main field 25 to 30 days after transplanting.

  • Spray 10% cow urine solution even at the time of flowering of plants.
