Drumstick cultivation
Drumstick is known by many names like Sahjana, Senjan, Sojana, Moringa, Drumstick etc. Its fruits are mostly used for making vegetables. Apart from legumes, its leaves and flowers are also eaten in southern India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia etc. Being rich in many nutrients, it is also used as a herb . It can be cultivated in almost all types of soil. But sandy soil is best for this.

Field preparation and planting
