Identification of rust disease in wheat crop

Rust disease is also included in the diseases of wheat crop. This disease is of three types. Rust disease is also known as Gerui disease and Rust disease. From here you can see the symptoms of Brown Rust Disease, Yellow Rust Disease and Black Rust Disease. Along with this, you can also control this disease by using the medicines mentioned in this post.

  • Brown Rust Disease: This disease is also called brown rust or leaf rust disease. This disease is found in almost all areas of the country. In the beginning of this disease, orange colored spots appear on the upper surface of the leaves. After some time these spots turn dark brown in color. Due to this disease, the yield of wheat can be reduced by up to 30 percent. To control this disease, spray 1.2 kg Dithane M45 per acre of land.

  • Yellow Rust Disease: It is also called yellow rust or striped rust disease. Yellow colored stripes appear on the leaves of the plants affected by this disease. After some time the entire leaves turn yellow. Even yellowish powder-like elements start falling in the soil. When this disease occurs at the time of flowering, the plants do not form earrings. To control this disease, spray Mancozeb 75 WP @ 2 grams per liter of water.

  • Black rust disease: It is also called black rust or stem rust disease. In the beginning of this disease, dark brown spots appear on the stem and leaves of the plants. As the disease progresses, the color of the spots turns black. The disease spreads rapidly when the temperature exceeds 20 degree centigrade. To control this disease, spray 0.1% Tebuconazole 250 EC.
