Litchi: Ways to protect Manjar from fungal diseases

The risk of blight disease of mango and fruit increases at the time of sighting of litchi trees. It is a fungal disease. Generally, the symptoms of this disease are seen after leaf blight disease. The leaves of litchi affected by this disease are badly affected. If you cultivate litchi, then it is very important for you to be aware of this disease. Causes of blight disease of Manjar and fruits

  • This disease is caused by fungi.

  • These fungi grow rapidly on dry leaves and weeds lying in the shade of trees.

Symptoms and signs of fruit blight disease

  • The plants affected by the disease start shrinking.

  • Slowly the curtains start drying up.

  • Small fruit stalks begin to rot and the skin of the fruit also dries up.

How to control?

  • Separate the affected leaves and stems from the trees and destroy them by burning.

  • Clean the gardens regularly. Remove dry leaves and weeds.

  • Use beneficial micro-organisms like Trichoderma or Mycorrhiza in the soil to increase immunity.

  • To protect the plants from this disease, immediately after leaving the scene, mix 30 grams of Countryside Full Stop in 15 liters of water and spray it.

  • Apart from this, mixing 15 ml of Amistar in 15 liters of water can also be sprayed.

  • Re-spray these drugs about 20 days before harvesting of fruits.
