MNREGA Animal Shed Scheme: Get subsidy for construction of animal housing

MNREGA Animal Shed Scheme 2021 has been started by the government to promote animal husbandry. This scheme has been started for the farmers and cattle rearers of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. Terms and conditions for availing this scheme

• To get subsidy under this scheme, it is necessary for the livestock owners to have at least 2 animals.

• 75 thousand rupees will be given to the cattle owners through MGNREGA for the construction of sheds, sound, floor and urinal track on their private land for the animals to live in.

• Subsidy up to Rs. 1 lakh 16 thousand will be given to the livestock owners for 4 animals.

• Under this scheme, an amount of about 40 lakhs will be provided to a cattle rearer. In which the animal husband will have to pay a margin amount of 90 thousand rupees. After this, livestock owners can take a loan of Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand from the bank.

• Sheds for animals will have to be constructed by the cattle owners on their private land.
