Papaya: Fertilizer Management at the time of Planting Plants

At the time of transplanting papaya plants, the use of the right amount of fertilizer keeps the plants healthy and their growth is also good. If you are cultivating papaya and want to know the amount of fertilizers then read this post carefully.

  • Prepare pits in the field about 15 days before transplanting the plants in the main field.

  • Keep the depth of pits 50 cm and width 50 cm.

  • Keep a distance of 2 meters between the pits.

  • Prepare the pits and leave them open for a few days. This will destroy the weeds and various pests present in the field.

  • At the time of planting plants, fill all the pits with equal quantity of soil and cow dung by mixing 50 grams of Aldrin.

  • Neem cake can also be used while filling the pits.

  • When filling the pits, fill the soil to a slight height above the ground surface.

  • In a year, 250 grams of Nitrogen, 150 grams of Phosphorous and 250 grams of Potash are required per plant.

  • Give this amount of manure in 2 to 4 times.

  • Applying manure and fertilizers a few days after transplanting the plants will give better results.
