Save chilli plants in nursery from these deadly diseases

Small plants are more prone to various diseases. Many times the leaves of the plants turn yellow and start rotting in the chilli nursery. Sometimes white spots are also seen on the leaves. Apart from this, there is also the possibility of damping off disease in small plants. These diseases can cause heavy damage to the chilli crop. Check out the ways to avoid these diseases from here.

  • If the leaves of chilli are turning yellow and wilting or white spots are visible on the leaves, then spray Hexaconazole @ 1 ml sticker per liter of water to control it.

  • If the disease progresses, sprinkle 20 grams soluble sulfur per liter of water.

  • If required, 2 to 3 spraying can be done at an interval of 10 days.

  • Along with this, take care that there is no water logging in the field.

  • To protect chilli plants from damping off disease, before sowing treat seed with Thiram @ 3 gm per kg.

  • Apart from this, 2 grams of Carbendazim per kilogram of seed can also be treated.

  • After this, treat each kilogram of seed with 5 grams of Trichoderma.
