Citrus Tristeza: This is the most lethal disease among the diseases of lemon-class plants. It is a viral disease. The outbreak of this disease is more in the summer season when the temperature rises. The leaves of the plants affected by the disease turn yellow. Plants begin to show signs of nutrient deficiency. In a few years the plants dry up completely. Aphids work to spread this disease to other plants. To avoid this disease, do not use cuttings of plants affected by the disease. To control this disease, 1 ml dimethoate 30 EC per liter of water. Mix and sprinkle.

Cancer disease: It is a disease spread by virus. The outbreak of this disease is more during the rainy season. Along with the fruits of the plants affected by this disease, yellow spots also appear on the leaves and branches. As the disease progresses, these spots turn into ulcers. To prevent the spread of this disease, cut and destroy the affected parts of the plants. Apply paste of boards on the cut branches. To get rid of the disease, sprinkle 2 grams of Mancozeb per liter of water.

Greenish disease: The leaves of the plants affected by this disease grow upwards and the size of the leaves becomes small. The veins of the leaves turn green and the rest of the leaves turn yellow. Inhibits the growth of plants. Fruits of affected plants have a bad taste and distorted shape. 1 ml dimethoate 30 EC per liter of water. This disease can be easily controlled by mixing and spraying. Re-spray if required at an interval of 20 days.

Gumosis disease: This disease is caused by a fungus called Phytophthora. The spores of this fungus survive for a long time in the soil. Due to this disease, gum starts coming out from the stem of the plants. The roots and stems of the plants start rotting and the leaves turn yellow and dry up. To control this disease, 2.5 grams of Ridomil MZ per liter of water. Spray 72 mix. Repeat spraying if required at 40 days interval.
