Subsidy will be given on agricultural machinery, apply now

Farmers need various agricultural machinery from plowing the field to harvesting the crops. Many a times, small farmers doing horticulture have to face huge losses due to non-availability of tractors, power tillers, spares etc. To overcome this problem of farmers, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh doing agriculture and horticulture will be given subsidy on various agricultural machines by the government.

Under the Integrated Horticulture Mission scheme, farmers of Madhya Pradesh are being given subsidy on small agricultural machines. Under this, 31 farmers in 16 districts of Madhya Pradesh will get 20 HP. tractor is being provided. Under this scheme farmer tractor (PTO 20 hp), power tiller driven agricultural machinery, 20 hp. Equipment of less, mechanized knapsack spares, electrically operated Taiwan spares, agricultural implements with a capacity of more than 16 liters can apply to get subsidy. All categories of farmers can apply for subsidy. The point to be noted here is that different subsidies have been fixed for all categories of farmers.

How to apply for subsidy on agricultural machinery?

First of all you have to register online by visiting the official website of Horticulture Department, Madhya Pradesh.

After this, the farmers will have to enter the requested information and submit the e-KYC (fingerprint).

Important documents to apply

Farmers must have photo, Aadhar number, copy of Khatauni, bank account passbook, caste certificate.

It is mandatory for the farmers to apply through online mode.
It is necessary for the applying farmers to have adequate means for irrigation.
Only horticulture farmers can take advantage of this scheme.
Farmers should have private land.

How much subsidy will be given to different categories of farmers?

Subsidy on power tiller less than 8 bhp

General Category: Rs 40,000
Women Farmers, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Small and Weaker Sections: Rs 50,000

Subsidy on power tiller of 8 bhp or more

General Category: Rs.60,000
Women Farmers, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Small and Weaker Sections: Rs 75,000

Subsidy on mechanically operated knapsack spares of more than 16 liters capacity

General Category : Maximum 0.08 per unit
Women Farmers, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Small and Weaker Sections: Maximum Rs.0.10 per unit
