Up to 90% subsidy will be available for goat and sheep rearing

Goat and sheep rearing is a better option of additional income for the farmers. Many concrete steps are being taken by the government to give bad name to goat rearing and sheep rearing. In this sequence, the National Live Stock Mission has been started by the government for goat and sheep rearing. Under this scheme, up to 90 percent subsidy is being given for goat and sheep rearing. The point to be noted here is that under the National Live Stock Mission, different subsidy amounts have been fixed by different state governments. Terms and Conditions for Subsidy

• To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have 10 goats and 1 goat or 10 sheep and 1 sheep.

• In total 11 animals cost 66,000. In which candidates applying for subsidy will have to pay only 10 percent i.e. Rs 6,600.

Last date to apply for subsidy

• Interested candidates are required to apply for subsidy by 30th December.
