Suitable time for sowing red greens

  • Its cultivation is successfully cultivated in summer and rainy season.

  • It is sown in the month of February to March.

Suitable soil and climate

  • It is cultivated in well drained soil rich in organic matter.

  • Do not cultivate in waterlogged land.

  • The pH level of the soil should be 6 to 8.

  • The temperate and temperate climate is suitable for its cultivation.

  • The temperature of 20 to 25 degree centigrade is better for germination.

  • 30 degree temperature is required for the development of plants.

  • With proper arrangement of irrigation, good growth of plants takes place even in 40 degree temperature.
