Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning can occur in some areas of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra and North Interior Karnataka. Strong wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph very likely over north-west & central-west Bay of Bengal and Odisha coast. Fishermen are advised to stay away from these areas.

03 October 2020 : Heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur in some areas of Odisha. Heavy rains are likely over Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura. South-East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and some areas of North Interior Karnataka Light thunder can be heard along with lightning. Strong wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph very likely over Northwest & Central West Bay of Bengal, Odisha Coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
