Ingredients Required to Prepare Insecticide/Pesticide at Home

  • Materials required for making organic insecticide/pesticide 'Neemastra'
  • Neem leaves or dried fruits: 5 kg
  • Cow urine: 5 L
  • Cow dung: 1 kg
  • Water
  • Wood stick (for stirring the mixture)
  • Cloth (for straining)

Preparation Process of Organic Insecticide/Pesticide 'Neemastra'

  • To make 'Neemastra', crush neem leaves and dried fruits and mix them in water.
  • Then, add cow urine and cow dung to it, cover it with a lid, and keep it in a shaded place.
  • Every morning and evening, stir this mixture with a wooden stick.
  • After 48 hours, strain this mixture well through a cloth.
  • This way, 'Neemastra' will be ready and you can use it on crops.

Ingredients Required to Prepare the Bio-pesticide 'Brahmastra'

  • Cow urine: 10 L
  • Neem leaves (crushed): 5 kg
  • White datura leaves (crushed): 2 kg
  • Custard apple leaves (crushed): 2 kg
  • Karanja leaves: 2 kg
  • Guava leaves: 2 kg
  • Castor leaves: 2 kg
  • Papaya leaves: 2 kg
  • Clean cloth (for straining the prepared mixture)
  • A large container for boiling cow urine and leaves.

Preparation Process of Bio-pesticide 'Brahmastra'

  • Choose leaves from any 5 plants among neem, white datura, custard apple, karanja, guava, castor, and papaya, as per the specified quantity.
  • Boil these leaves in cow urine until approximately 4 boils are achieved.
  • Let the mixture cool down after about 4 boils.
  • After 48 hours, strain the cooled mixture using a clean cloth. The bio-pesticide 'Brahmastra' is now ready for use.
  • For pest control, mix 2-3 liters of 'Brahmastra' in 100 liters of water and spray it on crops.
  • This mixture can be stored for up to 6 months.

  • Cow urine: 20  L
  • Neem leaves: 5 kg
  • Garlic (crushed): 500 g
  • Green chili (crushed): 500 g
  • Tobacco powder: 500 g
  • Clean cloth (for straining the prepared mixture)

Preparation Process of Organic Pesticide 'Agni Astra'

  • First, grind neem leaves and mix them with cow urine.
  • Then, boil all other ingredients together on low heat.
  • After boiling, remove it from heat and keep it covered in a shaded place for 48 hours.
  • Every morning and evening, stir this mixture well for 5-10 minutes.
  • After 48 hours, strain this mixture through a cloth and spray it on crops.

Ingredients Required to Prepare Organic Pesticide 'Dashparni Ark'

  • Water: 200 L
  • Cow dung: 2 kg
  • Leaves of 10 plants (choose any 10 plants from Aak, Datura, Kaner, Hibiscus, Bitter Gourd, Basil, Castor, Karanj, Neem, Mango, Guava, Papaya, Pomegranate, Custard Apple, Ginger, Marigold): 2 kg of each
  • Turmeric powder: 500 g
  • Asafoetida powder: 10 g
  • Ginger (crushed): 500 g
  • Green chili (crushed): 1 kg
  • Garlic (crushed): 1 kg
  • Tobacco powder: 1 kg

Preparation Process of Organic Pesticide 'Dashparni Ark'

  • Pour 200 L of water into a tank and then add 2 kg of leaves of ten types of plants in equal quantities. Then add 5 L of cow urine and 5 kg of cow dung to the mixture and mix well.
  • Leave the prepared mixture for 5 days. The next day, add 5-7 liters of water to the mixture and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Now leave this mixture for 1 month and then strain and use it.
  • Once prepared, you can use the Dashparni Ark made for the next 4 months.
